US respondents thoughts on Market Research during COVID-19

We wanted to check our US respondents thoughts and opinions on the same questions we asked our APAC panelists (infographic here) so in mid April 2020 we ran a survey with over 1000 individuals from our US mobile panel.

36% respondents stated they participated more compared to the period before the pandemic. When checking the participation levels, we have seen an increase by up to 20% if we look at figures from April 2020 compared to Dec 2019. People want to have something to do on one side and also are looking to do their part and help provide research to companies to help the economy recover. The extra surveys also means more incentives which really help right now.

46% of respondents believe companies should be doing research projects right now to make sure economy quickly recovers , while only 3% of them think companies should not be doing research right now.
