What are our APAC (12 markets) respondents thinking about Market Research during COVID-19?
With so much uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 Pandemic, companies and clients have been questioning the role of Market Research during this time. Do individuals want to participate in a survey right now? Are response rates up or down? Should companies be running research projects right now? Is it sensitive to question people about the pandemic?
We surveyed over 6,000 APAC consumers to get their thoughts and opinions and here are the results…
57% respondents stated they participated more compared to the period before the pandemic. When checking the participation levels, we have seen an increase by up to 20% in most markets. People want to have something to do on one side and also are looking to do their part and help provide research to companies to help the economy recover. The extra surveys also means more incentives which really help right now.
58% of respondents believe companies should be doing research projects right now to make sure economy quickly recovers , while only 3% of them think companies should not be doing research right now.
